Verses 47-50Verses 44-46

On the part of God, guidance and misguidance are not compulsory. they are the direct results of Man's deeds. Sometimes Man does an evil deed, and as a result of it, God will deprive him from His light of guidance, just like a big tree that may deprive a house from the light of the sun:-

``And he whom Allah to guide him to the straight way.''

This is the direct result of Man's Free Will:-

``And you shall find the oppressors when they see the punishment, saying; Is there a way to return?''

Qurän has repeatedly spoken of the request of the oppressors to be returned, and given another chance for repentance and amendment. When they made sure in their death bed that they have to pass away, the first thing that they earnestly ask for, is to be returned; but of no use. When the bitter fruits of evil deeds are in sight; the sinners will desire nothing but to return back to this material world, so as to compensate for their evil deeds. But in the hereafter, the nature of things are so that, it is impossible for any kind of return to be granted. All the doors of return are locked, and the sinner has to encounter with the results of what he has done.

Then on the Day of Judgement, when the sinners find themselves exposed to the fire and smoke of their guilts they will become abjects in humbleness; and will peep at the fire with stealthy glance, and then they tremble with fear! They are so afraid of their fate and the punishment, that they dare not to open their eyes widely, to see the Blazing Fire that is prepared for their punishment. They want to ignore it some how but of what a use?

They will find themselves to be the real losers, for having lost all that they have hadِrank and wealthِself and soulِand even their families?:-

``Indeed the losers are those who lose themselves and their families in the Resurrection Day.''

In this probationary life, and period of that test and trial, they were heedless and lived with pride and arrogance. So they will be humbled and abased when they see the consequences of their evil deedsِnow full of despair and misery, they see that they have lost whatever they relied on, and the reliances have all turned to causes of perdition for them! In other word; they cut themselves off from God's guidance and care, and now they will have no one to protect them or deliver them from their disaster.
