SO GREAT A REWARD THAT NO ONE KNOWS VERSES NO.15-20

Verses 21-22Verses 15-20

      If some one claims to be a believer and has not got the said qualifications, he is not a true believer, or perhaps he is a nominal one. Among these qualities are:-

 

      When the believers are reminded by the signs of God they prostrate themselves before their beloved Lord, for being in a fervent love with God.

      They Glorify their Lord.

      They celebrate the praise of their God.

      They are humble and far from pride:-

      ``Only those believe in our signs who, when, they are reminded by it fall in prostration and celebrate the praise of their Lord without any pride.''

      The next verse says that the true believers call on their Lord with fear and hope.

      A believer's fear is for his own sins, faults, and wrongs, that may keep him far from his beloved Lord. His hope too is focused on the Grace of God and His Mercy.

      Upon who can we put our hope and expectations that we see everyone to be more helpless than the other? No help can come from those who are already drowned themselves.

      In the next verse (No.17), there is a promise of a great reward for the qualified believer, and so great a reward that no eye has ever seen it, and no ear has ever heard it, and none can think of its grandeur:-

      ``No one knows what is hidden for them of that which refreshed the eyes, as a reward for what they have been doing.''

      The Arabic, ``GHORRAT-UL-EIN'' translated to refresher of the eyes, is an Arabic idiom alluding to cold-tears, which is shed when some one is very happy. Its connotation is anything that may give Man the most satisfaction and the most pleasure.

      Then there is the question that:-

      ``Is he who was a believer like he who was a deboucher?'' No! Of course they are not equal.''

      The believer and the wicked are never alike, just as the light and shade, knowledge and ignorance, and good and bad , are not similar to one another.

 

      The future of the two classes will have the distinction of two kinds of abode; the one in the Fire, and the other in the Gardens of Bliss. Can the two be equal?
