Verses 20-24Verses 16-19

Loghmän's first advice was about Monotheism, and now in a secooond one, he refers to the final Judgement, through which every act, whether the smallest or the largest possible, will be brought up from God's record and considered correctly, and rewarded with justice, and accordingly:-

``O, my son! If there is a grain of mustard seed (of good or bad deeds) in the heart of a rock, or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth, that Allah is Subtle, All-aware.''

In other word, Allah keeps an account of whatever we do, be it an atom's weight in measure or as large as possible. He is aware of whatever we do, and will let us have the due and deserving rewards for it.

To God everything is known, be it the greatest of the celestial bodies or a mustard-seed, or less than that, say, an electron weight. Allah Has power over everything, large or small, and brings all forth to account, and have them all under His control.

The words small or large, are only relative measures, compared with our own size, or with a certain unit; but in the Dominion of God;s Power and Creation, small and large has no meaning.

Then three important instructions have been enjoined by Loghmän:- The performance of prayer which is a chain connecting Man to his Creator. Enjoining good deeds and forbidding bad ones, which is the chain for connecting man to his community and his fellow-men. The third instruction which is no less important, is to be patient in difficulties. The said three instructions are among the most decisive affairs.

The phrase, ``TURNING THE FACE, OR THE CHEEK, AWAY'' (NO.18) in Arabic usage, may mean to look at people with a sense of lofty superiority, and pride.

Then another important instruction has been given by the Man of Wisdom to his son, and that is, to live a moderate lifeِnot too high, not too lowِnot too little, and not too much, rather something in between.

Being modest or moderate is the pivot of Loghmän's philosophy, and also that of Islamic doctrine. That is to keep always within due bounds and observing reasonable limits. In all thing it is the best to be moderateِin walk, in talk, in work, and every action and all affairs.

      VON GOETHE has said:-

``Out of moderation a pure happiness springs.''

      And THOMAS FULLER has:-

``Moderation is the silken string running through the pearl-chain of all virtues.''
