Verses 128-130Verses 123-127

Although Adam's repentance and return was accepted, yet the consequences of hts disobedience remained , and o tit was not possible for them to their first state. Therefore, Allah ordered them all (ADAM, EVE, AND SATAN) to get out of the garden, where there was an eternal feud between Man and satan, as logn as they had to libe on the earth. but there was still hope fef Adam and his children:-

``There will come to you a guidance from Me, and whoever follows my guidance, will neither err, nor fall into hardship and trouble. And whoever turned away from My remembrance, for him, there shall be a narrowed life; and We shall also raise him blind in the life to come!''

The consequences of the rejection of God's guidance is a narrowed life, and blindness in the life to come; a blindness far worse than the physical blindness in this present life of us!

A narrowed life is not only a life in need of the necessities. One may have a pretty well income, and wealth, but stinginess, greed, and avidity may well straiten his life by putting restrictions in everyway before him. In spite of being very rich, such people will live like a poor rascal and beggar! On the other hand, remembering God will cause spiritual comfort, bravery, and piety; whereas forgetting Him will bring anxiety, stress, fear, and many other spiritual diseases.

Society forgetfulness of God will have a far worse consequence on the individual, as well as the community. When a whole society becomes Godless, woe is unto them! The consequences are far the worse! In spite of having all that they need, they feel to be hollow, depressed, vain, and worthless! In such a community, the individuals are afraid of one another! No one trusts his colleague, friend, or even family. Relations will turn around the pivot of material interests and profits. Prisons are full of criminals, thieves, and adulterers. Narcotic materials, drugs, opiums, intoxicants, and alcholic beverages will enslave almost all the Godless people, and such will be the narrowed life of those who have forgotten their Merciful Lord.

President Nixon, in his first presidential speech said:ِ

``We see an empty life all around us! We all desire to be satisfied, but we won't be. I see Man running in a dark lane, the end of which is nothing but absolute anxiety.''
